Shipping

We ship to every Australian state and territory, including PO boxes and Parcel Lockers. We do not currently ship outside Australia. Orders are dispatched from Sydney within 1–2 business days of payment, Monday to Friday excluding NSW public holidays. You will receive a tracking link by email when your order leaves us.

Delivery estimates are provided by Australia Post and are not guaranteed. Remote and regional addresses may take longer.

All shipping charges are displayed before you pay. Prices are in Australian dollars.

Lost or damaged in transit

Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery. If your parcel is lost, or arrives damaged, email hello@simplybeingbeauty.au with your order number and, for damage, a photo of the parcel and product. We will replace or refund at our cost; you do not need to pursue the carrier yourself.

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

In plain terms: if a product is faulty, damaged, not as described on this website, or does not do what we said it would, we will fix it. Depending on the problem you can choose a refund, a replacement or a repair for a major failure; for a minor failure we may choose to repair or replace. This applies whether or not the product has been opened, and there is no time limit other than what is reasonable for the product's expected life. We cover return shipping for faulty items.

Nothing in this policy limits those rights. Our change-of-mind policy below is offered in addition to them.

Change-of-mind returns

If you change your mind, we accept returns within 30 days of delivery for products that are unopened, unused and in their original sealed packaging. For hygiene and safety reasons we cannot resell opened cosmetics, so opened items are not eligible for change-of-mind returns (your rights for faulty products are unaffected).

1. Email hello@simplybeingbeauty.au with your order number and the items you wish to return. We will reply with a returns reference and address.
2. Pack the items securely and post them back within 14 days of receiving your reference. Return postage for change-of-mind returns is at your cost, and we recommend a tracked service.
3. Once received and checked, we refund the product price to your original payment method within 5 business days. Original shipping charges are not refunded for change-of-mind returns.

If a product doesn't suit your skin

Skin is individual, and even gentle products occasionally disagree with someone. If a product causes a reaction, stop using it and contact us within 30 days of delivery. We will offer a refund or exchange even though the product has been opened, and we ask for a brief description of the reaction so we can record it as part of our product safety monitoring. We recommend patch testing every new product; here is how.

Refunds

Refunds are processed to the original payment method through Shopify. Card refunds typically appear within 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank. If you paid using a buy-now-pay-later service, the refund is applied to that account and any remaining instalments are adjusted by the provider.
